Season 20, Episode 6
Butler breaks my heart in this episode. I loved and still love Michael Mann's The Insider and he thinks it's 20 minutes too long! I mean, you try to show someone a great film and they just don't get it.
In all seriousness, of course film, like all art, is subjective, so I while I don't agree with it, Butler's take is a valid one. Even if he's wrong. I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
Something we both agreed on was the greatness of the performance of Bruce McGill in the scene when Jeffrey Wigand is being deposed in a Mississippi court.
